Why you are learning your foreign language (e.g., career advancement, etc.). For the last few years, I have been wanting to work/travel in Japan. I understand that people who are able to speak Japanese and fluent English have a better chance of getting jobs than those who are only proficient in one language.
Your proficiency level (e.g., beginner, etc.). I have completed a beginners course in Japanese speaking at TAFE.
The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement (e.g., grammar, conversation, etc.), if any. I want to start learning conversationa l Japanese, and as I get more proficient at the language, start learning Kanji/Hirigan a and Kitagana.
How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons. I want to aim to have a basic understanding to the language within 6 months.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher. - Patience!

I'm in Grade 12 and have jumped two classes. I'm seeking admission to a prestigious University in England. I need to prepare a personal statement. I got 8 in last year's EILTS. I would like to have 2 hours of writing lesson per session, three times per week, from July 15 to July 30 with possible extension.
