i am 28yo asian male managing a mandarin orientated karaoke bar. Majority of customers are all mandarin speaking hence the need to be able to converse with them. Studied chinese(manda rin) up to yr 10 highschool at Adelaide High School, this has been a good decade ago...
I am willing to set aside a good majority of each week for the right private tutor who is flexible with time and can be on call aswell afternoon or evening classes prefered.
Wo uld prefer a young female tutor preferably still studying uni that enjoys singing karaoke =) and is familiar with this type of business.

Hello. I would like to learn to speak dutch in order to speak to my family members in their native language. I plan to travel to the netherlands mid next year (2011) and would like to feel confident in speaking to family members when I travel. I have completed a short course in beginners dutch a couple if years ago but have forgotten most of what I learnt. Dutch was my first language for the first 5 yrs of my life growing up in the netherlands but I have lost most of my language skills living in australia and not using the language frequently. I hope that I can learn to speak my first language again!

Hi my name is Crystal and this will be my second year of study at UNSW. I'm doing a bachelor of international studies and i am about to study japanese.
i would really like to study russian for a semester and then if i find i can pick it up i would like to change my degree to this at uni.
I would therefore be a beginner. I would be thinking 3 lessons a week and if we could work by the books that are able to be bought at USYD or MACU then it would fit right into where i would start at uni.
