- I speak the mother's dialect at a beginner level (confusion with grammar)
- read at a beginner level
- understand the dialect and am able to follow conversation
- Am travelling to Slovakia in Fall and wish to stregthen my speaking and grammar abilities
- learn proper Slovak
- also interested in working abroad in the E.U.
- would like to spend as much time as possible (2-3 days/week?, 2-3 hours?, full day?, evenings?)

INITIALLY I WAS SPOKEN TO AS A CHILD SINCE MY FATHER CAME FROM SLOVAKIA. THIS WAS DISCOURAGED BY THE SCHOOL SYSTEM. I DO HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE BUT RECENTLY VISITED SLOVAKIA BECAUSE MY FATHER'S DESCENDANTS ARE STILL THERE. I WANT TO RETURN AND BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITHOUT HAVING AN INTERPRETOR. MY INTEREST IS SOLELY IN COMMUNICATION .
