I am fairly proficient in Hindi but lack the practice and know how to speak fluently and spontaneously . I grew up in the UK, with an Indian background and visit India frequently. I am a fashion designer and have suppliers in India and would like to be able to converse with them professionall y, easily and confidently about business in Hindi, as well as be able to build trusting relationships with them. I can understand when others speak Hindi but am often not able to reply in Hindi. I would like short, regular lessons over the phone, and to be able to practice conversations over the phone. I am looking for someone patient, articulate in grammar, who can explain things easily, someone with very strong english who can relate easily and au fait with contemporary Indian business Hindi.

I have heard some Telugu growing up, but cannot speak any of the language. I would start as a beginner. I am learing Telugu for personal and professional reasons, as I my father is from Hyderabad and I will be working in Hyderabad for the next year. I will dedicate at least 10 hours a week to language lessons to hopefully become fluent conversationa lly by the end of the year. I want an interactive, engaging teacher that also uses text books, as I am a visual learner.
