I recently returned from India and am living in Sheffield / Nottingham. I can have simple conversations in hindi and read script very slowly. I hindi lessons so I don't forget what I know, incase I go back and because I want to learn a language. I'd want lessons maybe once a fortnight.

Hello,
I am a 50 year-old part-time library clerk who has discovered the wonderful world of Indian cinema. I would like to learn the Hindi language so that I can enjoy these great films without having to endure the tedious, and I fear abbreviated subtitles.
Obviously, I would be a total beginner so would require a teacher with a great deal of patience and the ability to provide lessons for the next few years.
I would like to take private lessons, but would be willing to join a small class, also. If at all possible, I would like to remain around the South St. Louis area.
I believe that I could devote at least 30 minutes a day (perhaps 1 hour) to my studies.
Hopefully, there is someone out there who will be willing to pass on their knowledge of this most beautiful language.
