I am interested in learning Egyptian Arabic and Arabic as well. I have already started to learn some but have had very little formal training. I have always had an interest in arabic and in the last 9 months or so have really started persuing it. I not only want to learn to speak but to read and write as well.

I am an native English speaker. I have a new son-in-law who is Arabic, from Palestine. He and my youngest daughter are having a baby. I want to learn Arabic so I can communitate with him and his family. Also, my new grandchild will be speaking both languages.I work a job 8 - 5 and I would like to have a class with my daughter either after work or on Saturdays. She wants to learn the language, too.
In lessons I learn best hearing, seeing it written, writing, and speaking. In my teacher I want someone who understands English enough to communicate to me.
