I don't want to, I have to for the Ministry of Education. I will strive even if I have no passion for the language, please do not take offense.
I am a Bahraini girl, with only a Bahrain passport and just found out from my school that I have to know the language. I mean, yeah I guess it is common sense.
I went to Philippines and studied there for two years when I was around 6 or 7 years old.
Therefo re, making me forget about my supposedly native language.
I am about to enter the ninth grade which means I will have to stay in class and learn since I cannot/ would not be able to get a Filipino passport ( which is my mother's origin).
I have been taking French classes in my school since last year.
I do not know any Arabic whatsoever.
Maybe only the basics being, what's your name, how are you and such.
I cannot write or read though.
So I guess I will be starting in the Beginner's stage.
I think I need improvement in conversation, grammar and everything actually.
I want to dedicate as much time as possible so I could get the hang of it, but due to my school activities maybe about an hour or two. Right after school, to start learning for an hour everyday.
I am looking for a patient teacher, as it will take time for me to learn and understand.
And I would like to ask if you take payment by mail to mail basis?

I have a basic knowledge of Arabic letters and very elementary grammar. I am very motivated and wish to learn modern standard Arabic as well as Qur'anic Arabic. I can read arabic with the vowels and have a basic vocabularly. Thus I am not a complete beginner but I am not intermediate either.
