I am a native canadian trying to win over my 'soon to be' inlaws from India. My girlfriends mother does not speak english, so I thought I'd learn to speak Hindi so that we can comunicate and build a relationship. I am brand new to the language and only know a few words. I am hoping to take lessons once a week for a few hours, hopfully with enough guidance and material that I can practice throughout the week. I'm an excellent student, but really only need to learn conversationa l Hindi, so there's no preasure on anyone who wants to take me as a student. I would like to find a teacher in Mississauga if possible, but I'm pretty gung ho about this and ready to travel throughout the GTA if no one is available in Mississauga.

I'm definitely a beginner in Hindi. I would like to master the language as I've always loved the language especially listening to its beautiful music. I can understand Hindi to some extent but my grammar and conversation skills are currently hopeless. I'm a busy working woman but would like to think I have at least an hour a week to put into learning Hindi and I expect my teacher to be someone that understands the difficulty of learning a lnew language and juggling it with the other things going on in life.
