I would like to travel to Puerto Rico to live and study. I work with high school students many of whom speak Spanish and are from Puerto Rico and Dominican R. I also have a grand child coming who will be Scottish and Puerto Rican! I would like to have an immersion program so that I can learn faster. My grand child's family lives on the southeast coast and I would like to be reasonably close to them to be able to visit (possibly a coastal town between Ponce and Humacao). I have taken Spanish and have also studied on my own, my pronunciation is good but my grammar and verbal skills are not so good. :) I would like to learn quickly and am a good student, female in my late 40's.
I would like a qualified teacher with references, female who is friendly and has the ability to provide a private room in a clean safe home. Also a teacher with enough time to dedicate to several hours per day of lessons and perhaps some travel guide time. I like children and animals, am friendly and very easy going. Thank you!

My husband is Polish, so we have many friends who are also Polish and move into conversations in Polish. I feel offended by this and would rather learn to speak it than feel left out.
I know alot of words and some sentences, but I could not hold a conversation.
I would 'forever' be practicing what I learn with my husband and step son.
I desire not to have perfect grammar, as I understand the language is quite difficult in that respect. Rather I just want to hold a conversation and everybody understand me and I them. I would like my teacher to be persistant, yet patient.
