I need to learn how to read and write well. I already know how to speak Farsi and last week I learned the alphabet. I was in Shanghai for 5 months, studying economics. I took a beginner's Chinese class and did well, however I want to continue learning only how to speak Chinese. I want to learn in order to serve as a translator for my father and his business in China. I need help in grammar, conversation and vocabulary. I think a solid hour with a tutor, 3 times a week would help me out a lot. I just want my tutor to be patient with me and to teach me a significant amount. I am a college student living off of financial aid, and I do not have a lot of money. However, I am hoping that the tutor will be willing to negotiate a cash price so I can afford to learn.
