My son Iliya, who is 5 years old, speaks English with his father and Russian with me. I want him to be perfectly fluent in Russian at the level of (or close to) native proficiency. We are looking for an instructor who can teach him to read and cultivate a passion for reading. We expect a long-term engagement -- 3-5 hours a week. Preferable qualities in the teacher: excellent Russian language (not affected by the knowledge of English); the sense of authority but complemented by sensitivity and compassion; ability to encourage a child to learn, not exerting excessive pressure; vital personality and positive attitude.

I am learning Russian because my wife is from Kazakhastan and I would like to be able to participate in converstation with her very large family. I would also like to learn Russian for a Career advantage. I am in the medical field and I come accross many older russian speaking people and would love to be able to provide them with more complete healthcare.
I am a beginner as I have had no formal education in russian. I have completed some rosetta stone and pimsleur courses but found that they do not cover everything I would like to know. I want to dedicate one session a week with some homework to do throughout the week.
I am looking for lessons that will cover grammer, reading, writing, speaking with a ultimate goal of becoming fluent in all aspects of the language.
I am looking for a teacher that is organized and able to adapt to the different learning styles of their students.
