I am a beginer in hindi, and have just begun my studdies. I want to learn hindi because I will be travelling to northern india in May and would like to have some proficiency before I arrive. I am dedicating about 3-4 hours per week to the study of hindi (hopefully 1 hour in class and 2-3 hours per week on my own). I would prefer to study with a female teacher if possible.

I am pretty much a beginner in the language. My mother is from Bombay but my grandparents live in Calcutta so I have been around people speaking both Hindi and Bengali and can understand more than I can speak. I want to learn so I can speak to my grandparents and family more when I visit.
I would like to dedicate about an hour to an hour and a half a week on the lessons.

I was born in India but grew up in the US. I will be coming back to India to learn Hindi. I have a Bachalors degree in Cultural Anthropology and plan on further studies ie MA. I am a beginner and need to become proficient in Hindi grammar, reading, writing, and conversation. I am willing to put in as much time as I need to in order to finish an intensive Hindi course. I hope to achieve proficiency in an intensive (everyday several hours) course in 3-4 months. I would like a female teacher who is able to spend several hours teaching me Hindi daily.
