Salam,
I am a recent adherent to the religious practices of Sufi Islam. I would very much like to learn the language of the Qu'ran and the Prophet (saaws), as well as the language of the Persian Poets (Farsi). Middle Eastern Arabic would be my first choice above all other choices.
I have taught myself the Alif-baa, and have hung around enough mosques and masjids to have a good feel for the language, i am however looking for some one-on-one time or small group to move the next step in my understanding of the language.
Just like everyone i have a tight schedule but am very much willing to make many accomadations for someone who is willing to mentor me.

I hope to continue to achieve my masters program with my foreign language being Arabic. I want to work international y in Arab countries. I am at an intermediate/ advanced intermediate level. I would like to work on my vocabulary as well as my reading comprehension . I would like to study 4-8 hours a week.

I am seeking a job employment opportunity in Riyhad, Saudi Arabia and feel that although the recruiting agency will provide basic langauge training, I could significantly benefit from further training. If hired, I would be working as a registered nurse in a pediatric hospital where much of my use of the language would be conversing with mothers of sick children. I feel that being comfortable with basic arabic phrases is essential to my role in this capacity. I am looking for a teacher who is patient, thorough and able to provide feedback with regards to areas of needed improvement. As I currently work shift work, it is also important that the teacher have flexible hours for lessons. Thank you very much for your time.
