Hello,
I studied basic Arabic (classic) for 10 months. I am still a beginner, but I can read and write. It is my comprehension that is still lacking, and the use of the language on a day-to-day basis.
I am trying to learn Arabic because it is a beautiful language and I am trying to learn more about the Muslim culture. At the same time I am interested in the history and politics of countries that use Arabic as a major language (e.g. Sudan).
I need improvement in conversation and comprehension .
I am willing to do a few hours a week for language lessons.
I am looking for consistency (lessons should be regular) and support from my teacher. I am looking for a teacher who can help me become proficient/ fluent in Arabic.

I am looking for a tutor for my 8 year old twins. They are born and raised in U.S. therefore they must start from the beginning. I would prefer that you come to my home however they may be able to do videoconferen cing. Someone with experience with children and a clear cut lesson plan and structure. I would like to do at least 3 hours a week. As to payment, I am willing to pay depending on the hours and if I can get a lesser fee I also have a relative with her 3 children that can also accompany them. Please contact me asap. My current proficiency level in Arabic is 'BEGINNER'. I wish to learn Arabic because of my love for this language. During my visits to UAE and Saudi Arabia, I strongly realised that not knowing Arabic is a great handicap in day to day life in these countries. I plan to keep visiting these countries again inshallah and hence I have chosen to learn Arabic.
Know ing Arabic shall also enable me to understand Quran without needing a translation. That would indeed be a great experience for me inshallah.
A t present I am interested in focusing on improving grammar and conversation in Arabic. I would love to learn the language through direct method.In last four years I have attended some basic course for fusah and MSA. I also attended Berlitz but that course was left incomplete because the teacher had to return to Saudi Arabia.
