Complete beginner, but have already learned spanish, so I feel as though I somewhat understand how to learn foreign languages. I hope to work/travel in the balkans region and hope to begin with serbian, croatian, or russian. I would be able to dedicate perhaps three-four hours per week. I would like to work with someone in person and have them first explain the general grammer and voacabulary, then simply speak and read to me in that language. thank you.

My proficiency level is beginner. I have basic understanding of the alphabet and pronunciation of most letters and words, though I am still a bit slow. The reason I have for wanting to learn Russian is I plan to vacation in St. Petersburg near the end of October this year. I would like to spend possibly a few nights a week with a private tutor, going over common conversation, phrases, and expressions. I am not particular whether the teacher is male or female, though I would like someone somewhat close in age with myself(30 years old). However, they need not be exactly that age.

I am a beginner in learning Russian. I wish to learn quickly in order to communicate better with acquaintances in the Ukraine and Belarus. I am willing to spend several hours each day on the task, for several months, at least. I am looking for an instructor who can commit to the time required, and teach in an informal setting, at home, at a restaurant, driving, etc. Lodging can be provided, if necessary. Pay is negotiable.
