We just recently moved to Quebec City. I have 3 Children ages 14,16,and 16. We need instruction in speaking french for conversation and correct grammar. There would be 5 of us learning. None of us speak any French so we are definately beginners. We would like to learn to adapt to our new culture. About 6-8 hrs weekly.
Qualities : Fun, patient instructor. Practical usage to enable us to communicate and understand those around us.

Last year, I had two French courses in the French Institute in Bonn. Now I am moving to Monrovia, Liberia, and I wanted to use the one year time that I will stay there to learn French, although I know that the official language there is English. I would prefere to have a twice-a-week class. I am flexible to have it in a gourp or as a single student.
I am interested very much in learning French becuase I believe it is a great asset for every career path.

I am seeking a native Japanese speaker to tutor me in Japanese conversation and grammar once a week or more, live in person, for the duration of this summer 2004. I studied Japanese for three years in college and spent a year near Tokyo teaching English, but since this was years ago, I would like to brush up on my Japanese proficiency.
