I want to learn Russian, the main reason I am looking to learn Russian is because I am trying to go Special Forces in the Army. I am a college student in my 4th semester of Russian, but am failing. I need this 4th semester to complete my undergraduate history degree. I was recently diagnosed with a learning disability that makes it hard for me to focus on large amounts of information. Sucks, but it explains why I've had so much trouble even though I'm highly motivated. I don't simply want to pass this class to get my degree. My goal has always been to master the language and, after graduation, I've planned on living in Russia and teaching English in order to do that. (I've done a study abroad, but that's been my only experience there.) I am considering withdrawing from the university to save my GPA and use the time to catch up. I am searching for a tutor in the Dallas area who can meet with me maybe twice a week and help me better prepare for this fourth semester class. I have my text books so you can see precisely what I need to achieve. I hope to either pass out of the 4th semester or return and ace it next semester.
