Hello Madame or Sir,
I hope this email finds you well.
My name is Anna and I am interested in learning (Middle Eastern) colloquial Arabic - written and spoken, including grammer, but with a lot of emphasis on speaking. Generally, I would like to learn Arabic because I enjoy learning languages (I learned Italian fluently as an adult), have always enjoyed the beautiful sound of the Arabic language, would love to someday travel in the Middle East, and have very good, close friends that are from the Middle East-Syria and Lebanon specifically. In Arabic, I am an absolute beginner.
I am a professional, educated woman who works hard in a health sciences job, but would be a good student too. This summer, I would like to do rather intensive Arabic study, perhaps up to 3-4 hours per week of tutoring plus my time spent studying independently , as I have some time off. I have Skype and would prefer to learn using Skype. I will not waste your time. I am honest and likeable and would like a teacher who is also kind, patient and could offer lessons in the morning (my time).

I want to learn Arabic becuase I have a great interest in the region, and I might want to do a Phd down the road. Also it would help me get jobs that I am interested in.
My level is beginner. I have taken Level 1 and 2 (written and Lebanese) with a different teacher.
I need to expand my knowledge in both written and I need a lot of work with conversation.
I want to dedicate as much time as I can afford the lessons.
I am looking for a teacher that can really help me out get the sounds of the letters down and who can help me help myself by motivating me in and out of class.
