I have been learning Russian for several years (via audio lessons and books). I am not yet at A1 level, but I am not a total beginner. I would like to improve my skills with a serious teacher that can teach me maybe 2-3x per week for 45 minutes. I can pay for lessons and would prefer a true Russian teacher. I am currently using the beginner book by Stanislav Chernyshov and Alla Chernyshova. I am on lesson 15 out of 30. I would like to finish this book with a teacher. Thank you.

I'd previously been at an intermediate- advanced level of Russian, which I studied during university.
I no longer remember much of any of my Russian, but would like to get it back. I'm hoping to improve it to the point of being able to have basic conversations when meeting people who speak Russian, or potentially visiting Russia, as well as being able to read books in Russian.
I 've always loved grammar, and believe that it's foundational to learning a language as an adult. I'd like to focus on grammar, with some basic pronunciation review, while supplementing this with films, readings, and writing as homework. I've signed up for LingoPie, which has beginner level films and shows in Russian.

I am learning Russian for many months on my own- it is difficult! I need a structured atmosphere from beginners, the teacher will have to judge my progress.
I know some words in Russian like я понимаю -although I really don't. I also need 'structured learning process', that will allow me time to learn spelling, and pronounciatio ns and sentences, using these words in sentence context.
I can spend about 1 hour, sometimes more, on study and learning.I believe I need to start at the beginning of speaking and learning nouns, especially the endings and prefixes of most words. Literally, I want to fully comprehend the word meanings and usages in sentences. I know Привет, but not the answer.
I am retired, so I can be available on a fairly flexible schedule, my early morning would be best though, before I get involved in things.

I am learning this language to better assist my unit and squad in upcoming deployment. I am a beginner with this language so I need help with all areas but conversation is most valuable area.
