Hi I am interested in some private lessons in Hindi. I will be travelling to India in November and am keen to have a basic understanding of conversationa l Hindi. I have taken lessons in the past but only have lost much of my understanding of sentence structure etc. I am looking for lessons of about one and a half hours duration two or three times a week if possible. I need a patient teacher who can give me strong pointers on proper pronunciation and grammar usuage.

Enquiring about availability to tutor a group of 3 people, at lower intermediate level. We have all completed the beginners course in Roman script Hindi at SOAS and we'd like to work with a private tutor to bring up our standard of written Hindi, and also continue expanding our knowledge of speaking and listening.
In short we've absolute beginners in Devagnari. We'd be looking at doing one class a week, for 2 hours at a time, depending on what would work for you. We all work full time and class would need to take place at about 6.30/7pm.
Ideally we’d like to do a ten week term up until Xmas, and we’d be ready to start in about 2 weeks time. 2 of us are off to India next Friday and we’d like to make arrangements now so that we can begin class as soon as we get back.
Let me know your thoughts and if you’d like any more detail on us, our level of ability, location etc do get in touch. I’d also like to know what you would be looking at charging for 3 people, for a 10 week term, so 20 hours in total.
