Hi! I am a teacher in the North Houston area and I am wanting to learn the basics of Arabic. I will be heading to Abu Dhabi to teach English in August so would like to take a few private lessons each week before I go. I have been in working in Dubai for several years now and lived here fullltime for one year. I think it is a great shame that I can not say many words in arabic.

I want to learn Arabic language because I study in an Arab university where everybody speaks nothing but Arabic. Being alien to the language I find it difficult to cope with the studies and carryout conversations with my peers.Though I'm familiar with the letters and i can read but its of not much use momentarily. I would like to learn Arabic of a level that for the least allows me to understand what is being said. I would like to start my lesson in 2nd week of July and wind up by the end of August.
I would Prefer an avid teacher with some experience and good teaching style.
