I did study Russian for one year in University, but, really, I'm an absolute beginner. I'm planning on travelling in Russia and the Ukraine next year and would like to learn some rudimentary/c onversational Russian for my trip abroad.
I would be able to devote 1 to 2 two-hour sessions a week with an instructor, as well as several hours doing homework.

I am at a beginner level, in which I have never learned any Mandarin. I want to learn Mandarin for traveling purposes as well as for future jobs/oppurtun ities. I want to learn more on listening & conversation rather than written. I want to spend 2-3 hours each week until I am a advanced student. I am looking for a teacher that is cheap & affordable, and equivilent in price to a Mandarin course at Centennial or Seneca College.
I am looking for a fun & experienced teacher. A teacher that could teach at a informative fast pace. A teacher that knows what a new student should learn & what would be helpful.
