I am defintely a beginner, ha. I want to learn Polish, because I find it to be an interesting language. I want to eventually know Polish, French, and Spanish. I would like to start with Polish because I think it will be the hardest and I already know a little Spanish and French. I am an Australian born Pol recently moved to Poland to live and work so obviously my need is for total proficency in the Polish language.
I consider my level to be beginner and have a particular need toward the grammar skills amongst others.
The length of time required will depend greatly on my tutors skills and PATIANCE.(win k)and I think weekly lessons of at least an hour would be needed.

I am a beginner in Polish. I would like to learn the language because we have a live-in Polish nanny for my infant grandson. She does not know English and I would like to be able to communicate with her. Also, I love learning languages. I can devote up to 10 hours per week for my lessons including any home work. I am looking for a teacher who can give me a good conversationa l ability. I am not aiming to read and write Polish. At the present time, I am interested in only conversationa l Polish.
