i'm a beginner.
i want to learn spanish for travel and possibly work purposes.
i would like eventually to have a good understanding of spanish and the ability to read and write at moderate level.
in a month or so i would like to study around 3 to 5 hours a week. (i'm in the process of buying a unit at the moment so the month i spoke of earlier may stretch a little)

I studied Spanish recently for one month in Argentina but have no previous experience so I would say that my proficiency level is beginner. I want to learn Spanish because it is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, and I intend to spend alot more time traveling throughout south and central america in the next couple years. I would like to focus mostly on conversation but I also want to become strong in written spanish. Ideally I would like to have two to three two hour lessons a week. The qualities I want most in a teacher would have to be someone friendly, outgoing, and who has previous teaching experience.

I have taken Level 1 Spanish at a local college and am looking to find a Spanish teacher that has experience in teaching the language. I need to advance my Spanish at a rapid rate to be able to communicate effectively in various interviews. I need work on all areas of the language (I am at a beginner level)...gram mer, conversation and vocabulary. I am dedicated to learning the language and am willing to spend as much time as I need to learn what is required of me. I will be working evening hours (shift work) but can discuss availability in person. I am looking for a serious, enthusiastic individual that has a passion for teaching.
