I have been currently learning Latin American spanish on and off for the past six months in Sydney and online and have recently stopped lessons due to work commitments. I am leaving for Colombia again on the 29th December and would like to put in a solid effort before i go away to have a greater understanding of the language. At this stage i may be looking at up to two lesson per week. I am looking for a teacher that is local to my home town which will make it easier due to finding time around work. I am a second year International Business student in the spanish program. Currently I am taking advanced spanish but I am struggling to meet the required average for my program. I understand a fair amount but I am struggling in some areas where class mates are not. I struggle at conversation and other things like grammar. I need someone to sit down and walk through things with me a little slower then the class pace. I am willing to dedicate the time necessary to change this.
