I am a Beginner,want to learn german as i am really interested in learning foreign languages and German is fast becoming as one of the most widely spoken languages.
I am not very sure as to which ares need more imporvement as i have onl a hint of the language i don't really know where i will lack...maybe conversation can be a little difficult as you would need people to talk to, as far as time is concerned i think on weekends (as i am working in a software firm) a couple of hours i shall devote .
My teacher should be well qualifed and experienced in the the language i want to learn.

I have just graduated from Durham university with a first in German and Russian. I have only been learnign Russian for 3 years though and would like to become as fluent as possible. I am hoping to go to St Petersburg for about 6 months after Christmas 2006. In the meantime I would love any opportunity to be able to practice speaking the language. I am looking for conversation practice, plus assistance in grammar questions as they come up from private study. How regularly I would be looking to have a lesson would depend somewhat on cost.
