I'm a beginner in Spanish.
I want to learn Spanish for when I go back to the Dominican Republic in two years to volunteer my time. Hopefully I can be very fluent in the language by then.
Conver sation is where I want to improve.
I would like to dedicate two to three hours a week to this.
I would also like a teacher that is patient, willing to work at my pace, and that will get to know me to tailor the teachings to my needs and abilities.

I have beginner spanish, I know some words and can ask some questions, am able to mostly read and translate some of what I read but can't seem to learn to speak or listen fluently. My boyfriend does not know any spanish. We are able to commit to 2-3 hours a week as we both have busy schedules. My goal is to be able to speak a little and at least understand what people are saying to me, I would like to achieve this in 1 Year.

I have taken grade 10 and 11 spanish and am currently taking grade 12. however, the teachers way of teaching is not working for me and i am getting behind. I would like to catch up in my class and learn fluent spanish because i want to move to Nicaragua to teach english when I finish university. I have been to Nicaragua twice on mission trips and i hope to go back again within the next year or so. I have a lot of trouble forming sentences properly, and use the correct verb conjugation. I am willing to dedicate as much time as needed to my lessons. I am free most night, except when I have to work. In a teacher, i am looking for someone who takes the time to help me with the areas i am struggling in and finds ways to teach me the best way possible. Someone who cares about how much i learn is a must. Patience is also needed
