I am an english canadian living outside Beirut and I am having difficulty finding a teacher/tutor of arabic. I will be 4 weeks in Montreal, from 13 July to 10 August and would love to study arabic either privately, or within a small group, which is preferable. I am available any days, but would prefer about 2 hours/day, 3 or 4 days per week. I have taken one introductory course in Beirut. I am interested in conversation only, verb conjugasions, pronounciatio n, greetings, how to express myself, etc.
I will be staying in the Outremont area of Montreal.
I am available to start from 15 July.

I have taken Spanish in High School and feel pretty comfortable with the basics, althoughmy written Spanish is not very good because I have forgotten a lot.
I would like to get better at conversationa l Spanish I will eventually be living in an area where there are a lot of Spanish speakers.
I would like to focus on conversationa l Spanish, I'm not as concerned with written Spanish. I would like to be able to carry on basic conversations in Spanish (which I cannot really do now). I guess that means I need to learn a lot of vocabulary.
I would like to have about 3 or 4 one-hour sessions per week, preferably with an experienced Spanish teacher who has a lot of patience. I also have a friend who might want to take lessons with me, if that's possible.
