I'm Sam. I am from Perth Australia and I'm interested in continueing to learn Mandarin which I learnt in Shanghai while I was living and working there for two and a half years. I came back to Australia in September last year. I am able to have basic conversations in Chinese and would like to improve this and begin to learn to write. Depending on cost I would like to spend 1 or two hours a week in lessons and more with self study. I would like structured lessons with a view to taking a qualification in Chinese in the future. I would like to return to China in 18 months or less to live and work. Please contact me if you are able to assist with lessons.

From the first time i visited Thailand, i fell in love with the culture, the people and the country. I am hoping to spend more time there in the future. And being able to speak the language will be helpful.
A s of the moment i can only speak very basic Thai so i will need to work on all areas but perhaps mainly conversation.
I will have to fit the lessons in around my work, but i hope to dedicate a fair amount of time to this.
I guess the qualities i am looking for in a teacher are : patience with an easygoing nature and maturity.
