I teach beginners and I want a native speaker to help me prepare to teach advanced students.
I used to be an Intermediate to advanced student, but since I have not spoken the language in years, I am forgetting a lot of vocabulary.
My focus will be on improving my vocabulary and conversationa l skills.
I can dedicate an hour a day toward learning and more than that on my day off.
The most important thing is that the teacher must be a native speaker.

I really enjoy languages and have been studying different ones all my life although I'm only fluent in 2. My son, who is 10 will soon be studying Spanish, so I thought this would be a great time to start. Also, I have many friends from Spain, including my best friend from Barcelona. I studied Latin for 3 years at private school as a child, and, as I said, many Spanish friends who try and speak with me so I can understand some Spanish. However, I would still consider myself a beginner. I need improvement in all areas from vocabulary to grammar since the sentence structure is very different from English. I would like to have maybe 2 lessons a week. Depending on where and when since I am a single mother. I would prefer the teacher have a good, motivating attitude who isn't patronizing as I can easily lose my motivation.
