The main reason why I want to learn Spanish is because I have always wanted to speak another foreign language besides English. Another reason would be for career advancement and some Spanish words are somewhat similar to some Tagalog words. My proficiency level would be BEGINNER. I am currently working a 10-hour shift so any free time that I have, I want to spend it in learning the said language.

I would like to learn how to speak Spanish because there is a large Spanish speaking community in Brampton and I would like to be able to serve my community better.
I also travel to Spanish speaking countries yearly and would like to be able to hold a conversation with the people who work in the hotel in their native tongue.
I would like to second language and I would like Spanish to be the language that I learn.
It would be myself and a co-worker taking the lessons and we are some what flexable as to when we start (new year) and when the classes take place, evening or weekend.

I am an eager, enthusiastic Spanish learner who has travelled through South America and have done some classes so I would consider my level to be between beginner and intermediate. I have some Spanish background (but grew up in English speaking family) and therefore find it easy to learn.
I am looking for a teacher who is fun, dedicated and is encouraging. I would like to try conversations outside the general contexts like meeting people, ordering food etc. My objective is to become fluent enough to have interesting conversations with my Spanish friends.
I prefer to learn one on one so either in person or video/telepho ne conferencing is fine too when appropriate. I am concentrating on improving my conversation skills (speaking and listening) and would like to be given some grammatical advice too.
I would prefer to do 2-4 hr classes at least per week and happy to negotiate rates per hour.
