i am currently saving money for a working holiday in thailand and plan to get a student visa which last one year.
i speak poorly, but i can read a little but meaning is lost with words i do not know.
conversation would be the best in my opinon to encourage to study more.

I am studying the Bible with a lady who speaks Sinhala. I would like to be able to speak and read a certain amount of Sinhala so that I could help her in her own language. I have been trying to learn over the internet and with a friend since February 2009. I have learnt most of the characters, and I can read very slowly. The friend is helping me mainly with the reading. I would like help with the grammar and conversation.
