I want to take some Assyrian lessons because I want to maintain a strong connection to my culture and family. I can understand it well, but my speaking ability is broken and I just really lack confidence. I'd say I'm at an intermediate level and would like to focus on speaking, pronunciation , and conversationa l fluency. I'm particularly interested in learning the Assyrian dialect spoken in my family. I plan to dedicate consistent time each week to lessons and am looking for a patient, structured teacher who encourages confidence and corrects mistakes supportively :)

I have just returned from 2 months in Nepal to visit friends and only know a few words in Nepali. I am returning next year and would like to be able to talk to them in Nepali (even though most of them speak to me in English).
Wh en I say Nepali words they sound right to me but my friends disagree, so my teacher needs to have patience.

Im at a beginner level of Russian language learning. However My English is my forte. I learned to read by age four, and I have read lots of books since. I love learning, and am mystified by the Russian language and so it seemed fitting to try and learn. Russia is on the otherside of the planet, from Me here in Australia.

We are planning to move to Bac Lieu in 2029. Our next trip to see family is over Tet in 2026. I really want to get to a point when I can have at least basic conversation and understand them. They speak very quickly. My husband speaks Vietnamese but feels his pronunciation is flat as he has not spoken it consistently for years. So the lessons would be at my beginner level. We would then practice them together so that I could hopefully improve more easily, and he could in the process improve his pronunciation skills. We can do one lesson per week either Saturday or Sunday for now. Hopefully 2 hours. We are open to the Ipswich/Brisb ane area. We do prefer to focus on the Southern accent.
