-I have been learning Chinese for one semester at college level.
-Le arning languages is one of my biggest passions. I learned German and studied in Germany and wanted to learn a more challenging and different language. I am planning to study and teach in Beijing in the near future.
-C onversation. I am still enrolled at a Chinese course at FCCJ, the pace of the class is much too slow. The class is also near twenty students so I almost never am able to practice speaking. I really want to improve my conversationa l ability as much as possible.
-As much as you recommend, this is my primary focus.
-My primary concern is that the teacher wants to teach and knows how to guide me along. I am willing to put in the effort required, but I want the teacher to be able to focus me effectively and progress me in an effective way.

I am a beginner who wishes to learn for personal use and also possible business (Medical). I would need to learn conversation and grammar would be a plus as well. Depending on the teaching method, I would like to work a few times a week. I am looking for someone with the ability to teach, patience and a good knowledge base of the language.
