I am Khmer and I can understand when people speak to me in khmer but I cannot speak it. I want to learn it so i can communicate with my family. I also have a 3 yr old that is learning khmer from my parents and I feel embarassed to know that my son can speak it but I, his mom, cant. I am willing to dedicate as much time as its needed to learn it. Maybe a couple hours a day and a few times a week. I would like my teacher to be a Khmer native who is willing to take the time and patience to teach me.
