My proficiency level in Arabic is beginner.
I'm learning Arabic to communicate with fiancee's family. Her parents only speak French and Arabic.
I' m most interested in conversation, but I would also like to be able to read. Writing would be my final priority.
I'm interested in a fairly intense schedule, perhaps three lessons per week.
I'm looking for a teacher who has a proven ciriculum on starting from scratch and building towards conversationa l fluency. I would like a practical approach to conversation and vocabulary building. I have Rosetta Stone, and I think a more focused approach is going to keep me engaged and learning.

I want to learn another language because it is something I always wanted to do. I am very new to Japanese but I have been having a great time learning so far. The biggest place I need help is grammar. Every time I think I have a grasp on what is going on something new comes up and I get lost all over again. I study as much as possible on my own and would like to talk to a professional about the best method of learning the language. As far as a teacher goes, the biggest quality I am looking for is a native speaker. If I am going to pay someone to teach me I would prefer they be intimately familiar with the language. I have one last semester left for my Bachelors before I enlist in the Army and I would like nothing more then to spend that time learning to properly speak Japanese.

I am only interested in learning to speak urdu. Reading and writing are not important for me. I am a beginner. I know some punjabi and some urdu - but often get them intermingled when I communicate.
My goal is to be able to hold complete conversations in urdu.
I want would like to dedicate at least 3-5 hours a week in urdu speaking. I am available via chat or can travel to new york for lessons.
I need a teacher who is patient. A teacher who can give me materials that I can take home as lesson aids.
