Hello,
I am a beginner in Swahili. I am currently studying the Pimsleur and Rosetta Stone language Kiswahili series.
I am going to Kenya in May 2008, and hope to be able to converse on an elementary level with the people there.
I find that I can read and write my lessons fairly well, but need improvement speaking and listening.
I am willing to devote an hour each day to my studies.
I am looking for a teacher who has much patience, who is fluent in the current usages of the language, and who is somewhat familiar with the Kenyan culture.

I am doing business with Russia and have made several friends there. I am starting to travel there more often and would like to learn basic language skills to understand some of the conversation that is going on around me.
I am a beginner and would like to spend about 6-8 weeks intensively learning russian. I will devote as much time as needed to get this accomplished.

I am the most basic of beginners, but I would like to become fluent in Danish. I would someday like to live in Copenhagen, and would not like to be seen as an 'ignorant American' when I arrive lol. I am willing to dedicate up to four hours a week for lessons, and am prepared to do whatever homework the teacher feels is needed.
I am currently using the Rosetta Stone software, but am finding it lacking in major areas. I would like to find a tutor willing to work with me extensively on correct pronunciation and grammar.
