I believe I would be about an intermediate- advanced level of French, although it's rapidly slipping to simply intermediate! I want to keep up/improve the language to expand my career options, and am considering an internship in France or with an organization that requires French fluency next summer. I will be beginning grad school in mid-August, so from mid-July until then, I'm looking to devote a few hours a week to studying. A mix of in-person and online classes could work well, perhaps meeting for two hours twice a week with assignments to take home? A native speaker is preferred, but not necessary. Preferably someone who is energetic and can make the classes fun as well as very effective & efficient. I need a good grammar review (I could never master the subjunctive), help with listening comprehension , and would love creative ways to get lots of vocab in that goes beyond rote memorization! Merci!

I would like to achieve business proficiency in both French and Japanese.
I minored in Japanese for 3 years at UCLA and did a 6 mth exchange program in Tokyo with ICU. My final goal is to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and have it as a tool for future career advancement. I have intermediate conversationa l and written abilities in Japanese but would like to achieve a more business level aptitude.
I learned French for 6 years in high school in Singapore and passed both the Cambridge Ordinary and Advanced level examinations. It has unfortunately been 7 years since I have last practiced the language and have lost much of my proficiency in the language. I am in sore need of review of the basics and would like to eventually get to business level proficiency in French
I am looking for language lessons, preferably on the weekends. I am open to group lessons.
