My fiance and all of his family and friends are Thai. It's not very fun to go to dinner when you can't understand what they're saying especially when you hear your name come up several times. I know very little thai, just a few basic things like colors, days of the week, yes, no, and some things regaurding food because they own two restaraunt. I need to learn to hold conversations . I am willing to dedicate lots of time to learning if someone will teach me. i need a teacher who will work with me until i get the language right and will say things over for me so i can learn to say them properly. I need someone nice and understanding that wants me to learn as much as I want to.

Currently I am probably in between beginner and intermediate. Most of my Spanish knowledge is from one year of high school Spanish along with interaction with Spanish speakers on the job. I would like to build more solid fundamentals so that I can eventually become fluent in the Spanish language. I realize that's a lofty goal, but I'm motivated.

I am basically a beginner. I am a golf course superintenden t where my whole crew of employees basically speak spanish only. I can communicate enough to get by, but my goal is to be close to being fluent in the language. I have the time to be able to take classes twice a week in the afternoons or evenings. I would like a teacher who is friendly has no problems answering questions, but will also push me to learn. I am doing this for career and personal reasons.
