I would love a Burmese Language teacher because I have sponsored a child from Myanmar through World Vision for many years. I would like to visit Myanmar in a year or two or have child come here. I would be willing to work hard and would like one hour lessons once or twice a week. I am a beginner who has tried CD's,but feel I could do better with teacher. I am a woman and think I would be more comfortable with a woman teacher. Thank you.

We sponsor children in Myanmar and write to them and they to us. Presently their letters are translated by the organization we go thru. But wish to visit Myanmar next year and also communicate with them also with out a translator.

time: maybe once a week review with a person to check progress and answer questions.
q ualities: knows the language. I have reviewed online course and it seems they vary in words? I.e. I have seen 3 different spellings and sounds for 'MAN'. That is confusing and I don't know which one is correct.
