I desire to learn how to converse in Burmese. As I would like to be able to hold conversations with the locals when I travel to Myanmar. Currently I can only speak English. As I am waiting for University to start, I am free most of the time to pick up skills such as learning another language. I would like to learn Burmese because i like the Burmese culture, the people and the place.
I have never learnt Burmese before and I would like to learn how to recognize Burmese characters as well as daily conversation.
I would like to spend one hour a day for learning this new language. I hope my teacher will be patient, dedicated and keen to share her knowledge. I prefer to have a lady teacher who can speak English as well.
