I am really eager to learn Amharic i understand a lot but I can only respond with one word . It is hard for me to form a complete sentance that actually makes sence in Amharic. I would like to commit at least one hour a day if possible or either meet once a week for lessons what ever it takes I will do it.I am tired of people having to translate for me it has began to affect me at home,church, and jokes are just not funny when people have to explain them to you I want to laugh with everyone .I feel as if everyone is laughing at me . I recently married a man of Ethiopian ancestry who has lived in Germany for several years. It is my desire to learn Amharic so that I may converse with my in-laws. I am a native English speaker. After I learn Amharic, I will pursure German.
I can dedicate Sun through Tues all day and between 12:00p to 3:00p Wed through Sat.
