I know some Bosnian, and I can understand alot but I would like to be able to speak it better and understand more. I can't understand the radio cause they talk too fast but I can understand conversationa l Bosnian really well. I want to learn just because I am very interested in learning languages. My boyfriend is from Bosnia but I am too nervous to say things in front of him. I would like to dedicate 3 days a week or so to learning it, I am in school and I work full time so I was hoping that you would be able to be flexible enough to communicate in various ways, i would also like to meet in person if possible, but I think that most of the time it would be convenient to learn on the internet or however you communicate things outside of in-person. Everything I know so far I have taught myself through music and listening, and I think that i would be very easy to teach becuase I am really serious about learning. I also know the alphabet and the spelling and pronunciation so there isn't anything that I can't say I know alot of words I just don't know what they mean yet, and the dictionary doesn't tell you everything. I look forward to speaking with you!!!

I would like to learn Bosnian. I started dating a guy that moved to America from Bosnia around 15 years ago. Most of his time is spent with relatives and other displaced Bosnians to America. I do not know any Bosnian at all. I have all the time in the world to learn Bosnian however, I would like to show him my dedication by learning the language he speaks most often. I am looking for a patient teacher as well as someone who can teach me Bosnian as it is spoken, not as the text books would tell you. I want someone with knowledge and experience in Bosnian.

I am a graduate student in Anthropology who wants to learn BHS (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian) in order to be able to conduct my dissertation research in Bosnia. I have taken up to intermediate in the classroom through a summer intensive but have been out of practice for 4 months and need to review and expand my knowledge. I have a good deal of grammar knowledge and am fairly good with the cases and reading but need help with conversation and accent. I am looking for a tutor either in person or online and/or a tutor in Bosnia for a summer language program for June-Aug 2009
