I am always interested in languages so I am doing 3 languages currently. My French and Italian are fine but because I study Latin in the Open High School and the level of it is higher than mine, I am struggling a bit. I really want to carry on my Latin study because it helps my English and, because I plan to study linguistics and intend to direct myself to a career of literature, I need to improve it. In particular, I feel my Latin grammar and reading are really weak. I want to study Latin 1 or 2 hours everyday and if I can attend tutoring once or twice per week, each lasting for 2 hours, that's great. I am looking for a teacher who is responsible and kind to students, and has good knowledge in Latin. It's better that he/she has previous teaching experience and achievements.

I am a Master's student at the University of Melbourne, studying legal history. I have found that there is more Latin than I expected in 18th century English legal history. Though I have a good Legal Dictionary, I become frustrated when I can't find certain Latin phrases in my dictionary. I am a beginner student, however, I learn quickly and am willing to dedicate one night a week to learning Latin.

I am a year 10 student planning to study Latin for VCE. As I am currently enrolled in a long-distance school where I cannot contact my teacher in person, I would like to find a home tutor to further develope my learning.
The topics I would like to have covered are grammar, vocabulary and text translation. The lessons should last for 1 hour to 2 hours. Teachers I seek should have previous experience with teaching VCE Latin.
