I am a suicidemissio n of having to learn to speak catalan in a level sufficient to pass exams in academic level. I have tried to study a bit of catalan with thehelpof teach-yoursel f-books but the results aren`t remarkable. I need to find a teacher whois willing to progress fast and perhaps can take advantage of the French skills I already have. On the other hand I am willing to do a big effort to keep up with the high pace.

I do not really know any Catalan, only little things I have caught on to. I am living here in Barcelona until June for a foreign exchange year and at my school they do not teach catalan grammer or anything basic, so I want to learn. I would like to take lessons maybe 2 times a week. I would like a teacher who will basically help me learn the basic grammer and fundamentals of Catalan.
