Becau se of my business I feel I should have some knowledge of the Spanish language in order to communicate.
Converstaion is one of my weekest points, and of course grammar.

I am looking to learn conversationa l Spanish from absolute beginner to being competent enough to speak Spanish. I do not want to learn holiday Spanish, but converse with other Spanish Speakers. I would like to devote 2 hours per week over a long period to learn this language. I need a tutor with patience as I have never felt confident enough to try to learn a language before.I need to learn Spanish as my daughter and grandchildren reside in Lima, Peru and are all proficient speakers of Spanish. I want to avoid the need for my daughter to have to continually translate for me. I would like to be able to take part in conversations by myself.

I lived in Chile for one year but never got beyond the intermediate level (returned in March 2002 so need a concentrated refresher)
I am learning spanish for both pleasure and potential future business
Voc abulary and grammar combined with real practice are improvement areas - particulary spoken
