I am a beginner, wishing to speak conversationa l spanish. I have travelled to the Dominican Republic twice and will be returning there and to other spanish speaking countries. I have tried on-line lessons but feel the need for a class environment with other students and a teacher. I would like to take classes at least twice per week, with much more practice in between. I would like to commit to spanish lessons so as to converse fluently in spanish. I am looking for a teacher who is personable, approachable and very patient whose native language is spanish. I would prefer to be in a class environment with other students. I will not take lessons on a one on one basis in a private home, mine or theirs.

My wife and I need to learn conversationa l spanish. We are planning to move to Venezuela in coming months. I have spent several months working in South America, so already I have some limited understanding and vocabulary of the language.
We would like a friendly teacher who is flexible to accomodate 1 or 2 evening sessions per week for several months.

I have currently taken a year of Spanish at the University of Alberta.
I am interested in learning Spanish because I will be travelling in Spain and Italy for 8 months and I need to understand and speak Spanish more clearly.
I would like to have a a lesson once a week or every two weeks.
I am looking for a teacher who can focus more on my conversation abilities. A teacher who can help me with understanding native speakers as well as helping me form sentences. I also need work in my past and future tenses.
