I am a beginner in Slovakian. I want to learn the language as my boyfriend and friends are Slovakian, also, I love the country. I would like to have 1 lesson each week and learn some at home because I am quite busy in my job, otherwise I would have more time for it. I am willing to travel for my lessons. I lived in Slovakia teaching English for two years. I learned the basics and was getting on ok with it. That was three years ago and I seem to have forgotten everything! Am am planning on returning there to live and teach for a while longer at the beggining of January. I aim for eventual fluency but for now would just like to be able to deal with everyday situations. I am prepared to study in my own time but am looking for a native teacher to help me one evening/ afternoon per week.

I am looking to learn basic conversationa l Slovak. The reason is that my brother is marrying a Slovak girl and I want to be able to speak some basic Slovak to speak with her family, and also for the wedding. I am a complete beginner.
I would like to dedicate 6-8 hours a week over the next 4 weeks.
