I wish to learn Romanian because I have a long-standing interest in the history and culture of Romania. Moreover, I intend to visit the country in the summer of 2012. I have already studied a little Romanian but only at begginers' level. I am equally interested in mastering the spoken and written language, and can spare several hours a week for this purpose. I expect my teacher to be qualified as a tutor or, at the very least, to have a degree in his or her native language.

Hi,
My name is Jill, and I am a graduate looking to learn romanian as i will be moving to romania next year. I have already begun learning myself with various text books and cd roms. I am willing to dedicate a considerable amount of my time to my learning, depending on how much my teacher thinks i need and how quickly i progress. Ideally I would like to begin inteactive tuition from the 10th of October 2009 as I have other commitments for the next three weeks.
I would like to learn in person once I move to Romania, but am also happy to learn via text chat, voice chat etc in the meantime.
