Hello there,
My name is Crystal and I'm really interested in learning Farsi because my partner is from Iran and I would love to be able to communicate with him in Farsi. Secondly, we will be taking a trip to Turkey this summer to see his family and I think it is important for them to be able to understand me and vice versa.
Alt hough, I am a beginner when it comes to Farsi, I do know some common words and I also watch Iranian TV shows on the GL Box.
As for the areas of the language I need to improve on, I believe I need to work on absolutely everything. When it comes to studying any topic, I find that I am a very technical person. Meaning that, I need to know the reasons behind the 'how' and 'why' when learning any subject.
W hen it comes to learning Farsi, I would like to devote as much time as possible. I truly believe, in order to be great at something, you need to practice, practice, practice, and practice some more.
As for my future teacher, I need someone who really knows their stuff, who is not afraid to tell me when I am not saying or doing something properly, and who has the patience to help me correct it. Additionally, I would like my teacher to be personable, professional, and foremost, love what they do as a teacher.

I'm looking for a teacher to help me primarily with Farsi conversation. I'm a native Canadian and English speaker. My wife is Iranian, and I want to be able to better understand and be able participate in Farsi conversations with Iranian friends and family.
Through doing Rosetta Stone Farsi self-study, I believe I have a fair amount of Farsi vocabulary and a general understanding of basic grammar, but my conversationa l skills are still really weak.
I've taken a group Farsi class a few years ago, but believe the best way to get 'over the hump' is to have one-on-one conversations with a native Farsi speaker. I'm looking to find someone to meet with for approximately one hour once a week.

Hi,
My name is Sonia and i am interested in learning to speak Farsi.
My dad is Iranian but i did not teach us it at home.
My sister and I do not speak/underst and a word and now we are finding ourselves at a loss.
My uncle is also bringing his wife here and she doesn't speak a word of English and I wish to communicate with her when she does come.
I would definitely be a beginner category in the proficiency level.
I also wish to speak the language because it will make future job opportunities open up.
I am available for weekly lessons and also half day/full day lessons once a week. (To e determined )

I would like to learn Farsi out pure curiosity and for my own personal enjoyment. It is possible that one day it could be of professional value to me, but for now I would just like to begin exploring the language. I currently have absolutely no knowledge of Persian, and as I am a full-time student, can only dedicate a minimal amount of time to studying each week.
